Stick to watching in the pub thanks!

They recouped more in transfers than what they spent last season, so our war chest should be massive.

Cock suckers.

Re: Season Tickets sold out
Good news, hopefully the ST holders who didn't bother to turn up or resell tickets will have been weeded out and we can enjoy better times!

Anyone know if the capacity has been increased to 60k or are we stuck at 57?

Didn’t tell you anything of the sort Eggy…. Get your facts right…a few did… I said loads were thinking of calling it a day but they jumped in… bought a ST… moaned all year how shit it was… and then after saying they would not renew… did… and now they are already moaning… before the season has even started… and no none of my mates are 13BR… I think??

Re: Season Tickets sold out
Eggy, that only specifies what we spent on loans and not what we received or saved on sending out on our own loan players. I did forget we had to pay for Lanzini last year though.

Nordveit has since also left for a tidy profit and I'm not having that the loan of Calleri cost us almost 5 mil.

Doubt we would have had to pay the full loan amount on Zaza either.

Made me laugh looking at last years arrivals though. fuck me what a load of utter garbage.

Excellent support as ever.

The owners really need to repay our faith with some quality new signings.

grump

exactly why I keep saying no more than 3-4 players this summer. Quality not quantity

Also we may have got a fee for Valencia, the kids however we wouldn't have done and would likely have paid their wages too

It's mental, can't stop laughing at it. Actually I like Arthur as well, but blimey, it's like they were blindfolded and sticking pins in a donkey's arse hoping to get lucky.

Good news all round and proves fat boy Johnson wrong on every (EVERY). single count

Re: Season Tickets sold out
Lanzini apart Masuaku and Fernandes who were two of the least heralded, will likely turn out to be best signings made!

no matter who is buying them, seliing that amount is good going for a club like ours, if only we had british owners who could harness the potential.

Lets hope the cunts running the club reward the loyalty by signing some decent players.
Interesting next few weeks

Spot on RM10
Its all about harnessing the massive potential of this club.
Unfortunately these greedy chancers are totally incapable of it.

Selling out doesn't make Johnson incorrect, he just has a different opinion with the direction football and the club has taken, like quite a lot of us have. If you like the new dynamic of football and the modern fan, then that's excellent.

I guess if we're not in the champions league in 4 years, watching players like Sanchez in the claret and blue like we were promised the move would guarantee, then Johnson has ultimately been proved right.

Currently it just seems like all the fans are doing is lining the owners pockets, as team wise all we're doing is going backwards.

Re: Season Tickets sold out
I made a few predictions about this whole move mr blue sky, let's revisit some of them shall we:

1. Moving will not make us millions and millions more - I was told time and again that increased attendees, concession sales, naming rights etc would make us millions and millions more and catapult us into the high earners.

Sullivan said it makes us £12m a year more (that they won't spend) and naming rights revenue is capped so that it is actually LESS than we got at UP and LESS than the likes of Stoke get.

In real terms, our spending potentially has arguably gone backwards since the move.

Right on that one then.

2. The whole stuff about Transport Links was bollocks and that people would still see the major queues at games as EVERY SINGLE EVENT at the OS has ever had.

Right on that, it's shambolic at times, as commented on many people other than me as I only fell foul once when I needed to go to Strat Int after a night game.

3. We wouldn't fill the place.

We didn't. The most populated games were Juve and probably Chelsea Cup and Ys League. The FOI requests available back me up. Most of the season THOUSANDS didn't show up for games, this means we cannot fill it. Right again.

4. Thousands wouldn't renew.

Thousands didn't renew, me included, so right again.

5. STs would make general sale. I was wrong on that one and said as much when the number of STs available came out as I then expected them to, I even said that hopefully everyone with an ST now actually wants to be there and therefore the number of people showing up should be higher every game which will hopefully create a better atmosphere etc.

We'll have to see on that.

So, one out of five was wrong, which makes your post a bit fucking stupid doesn't it?
